This moment is just for you—a small, nourishing pause in your day.
If you have something comforting nearby, like a favorite scent (maybe lavender) or a small object that feels grounding in your hands, go ahead and grab it. If not, no worries—your breath and awareness are more than enough.
Close your eyes if it feels comfortable. Take a deep breath in through your nose… and then let out a long, audible exhale through your mouth. Let’s do that again—inhale… and exhale.
If you have something scented, like lavender, bring it close and take a slow breath in, letting the scent wrap around you. If you’re holding an object, notice its weight, its texture—just feel it in your hands.
Now, shift your attention inward. Notice what’s happening inside your body. There’s nothing to fix, nothing to change—just notice. Feel your breath move in and out, feel the stillness of this moment.
When you’re ready, slowly open your eyes and come back.
Do you feel even a tiny shift? A little more grounded, maybe even a little refreshed? These micro-moments throughout the day can make a huge difference in how you move through motherhood. Just a few seconds of breathing, noticing, and being present can help calm your nervous system, ease your stress, and bring you back to yourself.
You don’t need a perfect setup or a long meditation—just a minute here and there. Try it after a stressful moment, before a meal, or anytime you feel tension building. This is a small act of caring for yourself—and that matters.
